JAKARTA — Eramet Indonesia received a 4-Star rating at the TOP CSR Awards 2026, organized by TopBusiness Magazine in collaboration with several national CSR institutions and experts. The award recognizes the company’s commitment to creating sustainable positive impact for communities and the environment through various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

The award was presented on May 25, 2026, and accepted by Eramet Indonesia Head of Communications, Nancy Pasaribu, together with Eramet Indonesia Mining Stakeholder Relation Manager Donny Rijaluddin, representing the company. The achievement is especially meaningful as Eramet Indonesia earned the award in its very first participation at the TOP CSR Awards.

At the same event, Eramet Indonesia CEO Jérôme Baudelet also received the TOP Leader on CSR Commitment 2026 award, which recognizes corporate leaders for their commitment to governance and the successful implementation of CSR programs.

The TOP CSR Awards evaluate participants and assign ratings from 1 to 5 stars based on the maturity, governance, and effectiveness of CSR programs in line with ISO 26000 guidelines, with 5 Stars being the highest distinction. Eramet Indonesia’s 4-Star rating reflects the company’s mature and well-structured CSR implementation across its business operations.

This recognition also highlights the company’s sustainability strategy, “Act for Positive Mining,” which integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into every business process. The strategy is built on three pillars — Care for People, Trusted Partner for Nature, and Transform Our Value Chain — with long-term targets through 2035, including a 40 percent reduction in carbon emissions.

“For us, ESG is not just a document or a slogan,” said Donny Rijaluddin, Stakeholder Relation Manager of Eramet Indonesia Mining. This commitment is reflected in the company’s performance indicators, where ESG accounts for around 20 percent of the evaluation metrics, as well as in its cross-functional implementation throughout the organization.

Under the Care for People pillar, Eramet Indonesia runs the Eramet Beyond Scholarship program for students from Eastern Indonesia, as well as LAKSMI, a women’s economic empowerment initiative that has reached hundreds of participants, most of whom reported increased income. The company also consistently promotes diversity, with women making up around 30 percent of its workforce and holding 24 percent of managerial positions.

On the environmental and governance front, the company has implemented various waste and plastic reduction initiatives, while also reducing paper consumption by more than 50 percent through digitalization efforts.
